Any suggestions on how to reduce from 640 x 480 to 320 x 240 pixels.
I've adjusted my video capture card as well as split cam itself but the picture size still remains large. And when I try to upload a picture to a particular site via IE7 of course it's magnified. |

I don't understand, can you explain a bit more, what exactly are you trying to achieve?
If your TV capture card is outputing that size then you can't change it manually at the moment. Because splitcam will change it dynamically so that it will fit within its preview video screen. Of course providing your TV card is compatible with splitcam. |

and I can adjust the settings for the picture size, which I have done with the video card...reducing it to 320x240. I when I take my pictures they are 320x240 pixels.
But when I open splitcam the program states the larger size of 640x480 and when I upload the still picture to a specific site using IE the picture is hugely magnified. However if I upload the picture through Firefox to the same site, it appears normal ...320x240. This particular site I'm uploading to is mainly IE compatible.
It appears to me that splitcam is automatically increasing the size from the original 320x240 to 640x480. And I was hoping to find a way to reduce it. |

By DEFAULT splitcam captures images using it "SNAPSHOT" feature 640x480 pixels. Currently you can't change that. What you have to do is use another picture resizing program to change the pixel dimensions of your captured pictures to 320x240 pixel.
Here's a freely available program that you can use, there many others you can use. It's called Visualizer Photo Resize clink on the link below.

But my pictures when taken originally are 320x240 PRIOR to loading them into Splitcam, therefore they can't be reduced to the same size again.
It's only with IE that they are then magnified when loaded to the site, whereas with Firefox they appear normal.
At least I now know that Splitcams default size is 640x480 & this can't be changed so I'll just continue using Firefox rather than IE to load them to the site.
