If you vave this problem:
FAILED(hr=0x80040217) in m_pGraph->Connect(pSourcePin, pGrabPin)
dowload the K-Lite Codec Pack at:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/
and install it, i solved the problem

Or the last chance is to upgrade your own video driver

- Can you check if the driver of your camera is correctly installed ?
- Does your web camera (i presume that is the source) function in other applications ?
- In Split Camera you can use an existing file or even your desktop as a source. Does this function, or do oyou have problems with it too ?
- What is the Windows version you use ?
Split Camera is not compatible with all Windows versions

my webcam is working .. because i can use it to my ym.. and my split cam can use the desktop source .. but when i playing video file always saying that error..
and im using windows xp ..

What type of file do you try play ?
What extention has the fille ?
The reason i'm asking is because Split Camera can only handle these filetypes :

If the file/clip/movie you try to use as source is one of the file types mentionned above,
Does this file/clip/movie plays correctly in your favourite Media Player ?

sir my video file is AVI.. i really dont know why is it in my computer cant use it .. but in my friend computer it will work.. we are almost same type of computer.. what should i do ......................... ?

What is your favourite media player ?
Why do i ask ?
I suspect that the proper codecs to play the file are not installed.
Codecs are software related so it can very well be the file plays on one computer and not on another (even the computers are the same type.

I assume now you use Windows Media Player to lpay the AVI file you were reffering to a few posts above.
Does the AVI file play correctly in Windows Media Player ?
Do you have an error/a warning when you try to play the files ,

Simple to explain,
The correct codec to play the file(s) is not installed on your computer.
So you need to install them.
How to know what codec is used ?
See this Wich codecs are used ? thread at my forum.
Chose and install one of the applications listed and open the file in it.
The applications will report back the codec's you need to play the file(s) properly.
